Pantry Events is a creative catering and events company based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Pantry Events team has extensive experience of planning and delivering events such as, weddings, canapé receptions, launch events, private parties and gala dinners. They specialise in delivering creative menus and event design while always keeping the quality and integrity of the food at the heart of everything they do.

Job description

An exceptionally rare and exciting opportunity to join Team Pantry Events as our Event Producer. Reporting directly to the Head of Production you will work alongside the Sales, Production and Culinary team to deliver high quality events for design-led catering and events brand.

responsibilities

  • Manage all event inventory

  • Pack kit for transportation

  • Drive vans with kit to set up events

  • Ensure all kit is properly returned following the event

  • Liaising between culinary, sales and production team

  • Liaise with venues and build on existing relationship

  • Placing kit orders for production

  • Planning & executing on the day production of the event

  • Manage & support on events at locations across Scotland

  • As we work in many different venues, you will have the opportunity to gain lots of experience with different set ups and bar styles.

deliverables

  • Proven track record managing high-end events, banqueting, weddings and corporate events

  • Experience in running a diverse team of Event Managers, FOH members, and Logistics team members

  • Commercially aware and customer-focused

  • Full UK driving license and a full UK personal license holder

  • Authoritative yet empathetic with the ability to lead, make clear and effective decisions and be accountable to staff and clients

  • A love for organization, logistics, and planning with excellent time management skills

  • Accountability for personal and team performance

  • Ability to act as an ambassador for the company

  • A complete understanding that the role requires regular evening and weekend work

  • At least 5 years experience within the hospitality or event industry

  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Scottish event catering landscape
