Meet the Tuck Truck!
We are so excited about our lovingly restored horse box which we drove all the way up from the South Coast. It was manufactured in 1988 by Rice of Leicestershire.
Kitted out with all the latest 'on the road' technology including a fully working coffee machine. The Tuck Truck, although small, can create big things! From our prep kitchen in Edinburgh's Stockbridge we are lucky to have the space and kit to prepare bespoke menus that can then be seamlessly cooked and served from our trusty truck. Whether that be tacos, classic porchetta, stone baked pizzas or even the famous Pantry brunch! What we are trying to say is we are lucky....we don't have to stick to just one thing....the world is your oyster.
And meet us, Charlotte and Chris Thompson. We launched The Pantry in 2012 and our brunches have become the talk of the town. The Sunday Times said that Chris's Eggs Benedict was 'reason alone to come to Edinburgh'. Now if that's not persuaded you we don't know what will!
