Wedding Blogs: The Lowdown
Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a lovely festive period with your friends and families! Team Pantry Events managed to have a full break from all weddings and events for a couple of weeks but we’re straight back to it this week with a BRAND NEW PANTRY CAFE OPENING THIS THURSDAY! We’ll be opening at Dovecot Studios on Infirmary Street in Edinburgh’s Old Town so pop in and check out our new digs if you’re in the area!
A new year means new weddings and events to plan for 2019 and 2020! Congratulations to all the couples who were newly engaged and got in touch with us over Christmas and New Year, we can’t wait to get started on planning your wedding with you! So, new to this wedding organising business? Here’s a rundown of our favourite wedding bloggers!
It wouldn’t be a blog about wedding bloggers if we missed these guys out! Set up by the wedding industry’s own Chris and Gillian Currie (their photography is out of this world too so check them out if you’re looking for a wedding photographer!) and Claire (like a wedding guru), Wedding Collective focuses on all things unique and personal for weddings. Want to meet some potential suppliers for your wedding? No problem! The Wedding Collective puts on a market twice a year - the perfect opportunity for some wedding planning on a Sunday! Come and see us at the market on January 20th at Glasgow Engine Works!
The team over at RMW are wedding industry superstars! Covering everything from wedding trends in catering, dresses and favours to real weddings that have caught their eye, this bridal blog is a one stop shop for all things weddings! They’ve even launched their own podcast with episode one covering where to start with wedding planning - who doesn’t need advice with that?!
Calling all Scottish brides to be!! This is the one for you! These guys are all about finding inspiring, beautiful and quirky weddings from around Scotland and their blog is to die for. Check out their suppliers list for some wedding inspo for your big day too - you’ll only find the coolest cats on there. For brides who have just started planning, check out their ‘Bride to Be’ blog which follows he wedding planning journey of Laura, one of their own!
There are hundreds of wedding bloggers out there for you to check out and if all else fails, there’s Pinterest! Check these guys out as a starting point and if you need recommendations, we’re always here to point you in the right direction!
