Over the past year, the Pantry Events Team have travelled all over the country to bring brides, grooms and guests local, seasonal and tasty food. We have catered in all types of venues, some with fully fitted kitchens and some where the water supply has been the garden hose attached to the side of someone's garden shed! We pride ourselves on being able to cater for anyone, anywhere.
Undoubtedly, one of our (not so secret) favourite venues to work with is the Cow Shed Crail. Based just outside Crail in the East Neuk of Fife, Cow Shed offers couples a blank canvas where they can decorate and style their wedding themselves. One of the great things about this is that each wedding we work is completely different and we’re never looking at the same set up or decorations, each wedding is completely unique.
The Cow Shed is made up of three different indoor spaces as well as an outdoor courtyard - which is ideal for our Tuck Truck! The benefit of the way in which the buildings are laid out is that the entire wedding can be held in one space rather than couples holding their ceremony in one place before moving everyone onto the reception venue. The Cow Shed has a very relaxed vibe to it and is ideal for any couple looking for a wedding venue where they can make use of the 500 Pinterest boards that they have collated. Everything from the furniture to the lighting is up to them.
Even though we’ve been at Cow Shed several times last year as well as the eleven(!) bookings for this year, we have never had the same menu on the go twice. Whilst the majority of our Cow Shed couples opt for our Table Picnic, we have had some Rustic Buffets and Old Skool wedding breakfasts as well. Some even go for a mix of all three offerings! The flexibility of both Cow Shed and Pantry Events allow couples to have their big day exactly how they want it and this is what makes the two businesses work so well together - both are completely about the couple and what’s important to them.
We’re really excited to get stuck into a busy wedding season and even more excited to be spending time up at Cow Shed!
